Paul and Linda Mccartney

$125.00$3,500.00

I shot this photograph of Paul & Linda McCartney celebrating the release of their album, Band on the Run, in December 1973 at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles. They had just written the song ‘Live and Let Die’ for the James Bond film of the same name starring Roger Moore. I was on assignment for London’s Daily Express and wanted to evoke the strength of Paul & Linda’s new album. I remember is the publicist getting very upset when he saw Linda on top of Paul’s shoulders; Paul and Linda thought it was a blast.

Prints That Look Like Paintings

Hi-res capture + giclée printing + hot press bright paper + hand deckled = Highly detailed, brightly colored, fine art prints.

The original painted pieces were digitized using hi-res capture techniques and printed on hot press bright paper for its ability to create a bright color palette. The deckling, or tearing along the edges, makes the piece look more painterly. Not only does it look great, but it is fade resistant for 200 years.

Due to their individually crafted nature, these pieces are limited edition prints. This release has each image as an edition of 20—15 sold print only, and 5 sold with frames.

  • 200 year archival inks
  • Hot press bright paper – 300 g/m2 | 16 mil
  • Printed from master digital files
  • Calibrated for superior color fidelity

Frames Chosen for Aesthetics and Protection

The artist prefers this look for his pieces. Not only do they look great, but they also work perfectly with Spaced Ghost’s art. Since these pieces are deckled on the edges, they are framed floated and lifted in the middle of the frame.

Each other aspect of these frames is made for integrity to keep the art piece safe for times to come. Like it’s museum grade acrylic, acid-free foam-core, and hand-painted wood moulding.
